Imagine a pleasant Arizona evening; cool grass and warm desert air. You take your seat as the sun sets and amid the backdrop of a saguaros, palo verde, and mesquite; a Sonoran evening, the music begins.

Hello Everyone,

It is our pleasure to invite you to our home for an evening of intimate music with songwriter, Matthew Moran.

Two 45 minute sets will include acoustic versions of songs from Matt's CD, "Songs, Girls, and Other Delusions", other originals, and covers from some of his favorite artists. There will be about a 15-20 minute break between sets and time before and after the performance to mingle and visit.

Date: July 9, 2010
Time: Music starts around 7pm.
Location: Our home [address]
Suggested Donation: $20 (more if you can, less if can't).
As with most house concerts, there is no formal ticket price - commerce laws, etc.  We asks for a suggested donation. Additionally, Matt will have CD's and other merchandise.

Support him based on your enjoyment level.

• Bring a blanket or a folding chair.
  

What Is A House Concert?
Exactly that... a concert in a home or backyard (weather permitting). A performer (in this case, Matt) performs a show to invited friends and guest. It is a unique and wonderful way to hear orginal music and visit with friends .

Today, most of us are accustomed to concerts where the performers are either inaccessible, or where the environments, such as bars etc. dilute the concert atmosphere. House Concerts provide a refreshing change where artist and audience can mingle, socialize, where a relationship can grow.  It allows independent artists and audiences an opportunity to develop a living arts scene in their community.

Matthew Moran is a songwriter and performer based out of Los Angeles. His music is a cross-over of acoustic pop, blues rock, and country.

He performs regularly around Phoenix, Los Angeles, and has provided house concerts as far away as Chicago.
